I would like to thank each and every one of my readers out there, 50% percent of the reason I post is because you take the time to read. I hope that everyone has a happy and loving holiday. I'm pretty blessed to be surrounded by the people I love during this time of year and I don't take that for granted because I know that there are many of you who aren't. Today I saw so many homeless people

COLLECTION/VIDEO: capsule collection photos shoot
Again, the best way to watch this Video is on the Vimeo site because that video is in HD. I am not a member (maybe I'll get membership for Christmas) so I am unable to embed in HD.Photographer: Jamie HopperModel: Allison Fialkowski -SUPREME modelsMUA: Jay SS/12 capsule collection: Azede Jean-Pierre
11.20.2011
Joe and I turned four years yesterday. I know that sounds like a long time (it sounds like a long time to me too) but it seriously just flew by. I don't think I could ask for better- I lucked up and got the cream of the crop the first time around.
LIFE: space ghost tee
wearing: new favorite tee - adult swim. gift from bf. Jacket - DIY from a while back Sorry for the lack of post, it's finals week at university so I should be posting regularly again this time next week.
OUTFIT: dinner date
Dinner date for no special occasion. Wearing Ohne Titel tights that were gifted to me by the designers during my summer in new york. They are so easy to wear and delightfully comfortable. So versatile that I can wear them to sleep or out to dinner with the BF.
LIFE: 12 natural hair myths
“Natural Hair is Very Strong”This is a misconception. It may look or even feel rough and tough, but it isn’t. Natural hair is actually fragile and has to be handled with much care. Why? Because the strands curl and bend so much that each curl is a possible breaking point because the bend in the strand weakens the shaft. In fact, many people assume people with natural hair have thick and
LIFE: hair envy
Im going natural. Im so excited about the freedom that comes with wearing my hair the way it grows out of my scalp. "my hair has held me back from freely enjoying the simple pleasures in life (swimming, dancing in the rain, shower sex, etc.). It kept me always slightly insecure & self-conscious. &, if I was being honest, my chemically processed hair kept me feeling inadequate & slightly miserable
LIFE: current reading
The house of mirth is a great read, I recommend it to everyone. That RUSH cover is so very beautiful, I think I may try and DIY that Burberry sweater. And French Vogue, need I say too much more?
LIFE: Alexander Wang sample sale
I have conflicting feelings. Surly there are many more deserving obligations to my wallet then that of this sample sale; yet I can't stop thinking about it. You may or may not see me there tomorrow (if it is indeed an activity that is already part of your agenda) only time will tell. You may think that I could go just for the experience but I know myself better then that. I do not possess the
LIFE: party in the u.s.a
my dress: Jean Paul Gaultier [maille femme] jacket: Proenza Schouler (sampel sale find)Images: last night's photo diary. It was Joe's last night visiting me so we partied to take our minds off of the sad realization that he was going away. In the words of Jane Austin "New York is so diverting, there is so much to entertain". Yet our choice of entertainment was an easy one with the suggestion of
LIFE: Proenza Schouler sample sale
Dragged Joe (my bf -who is in town visiting) along with me. Lets just say he was one of the only the two males in line that I saw. We awoke at 6:30, the doors were scheduled to open at 9:00. When we arrived, about 35 people were in front of us, 20 minutes latter (after everyone let their friends jump the line) there was about 50 something. Doors opened around 9:15 and we were of the second group
LIFE: special delivery
I've been feeling a little home sick lately. My boyfriend and I have only been apart for about a week before now. To say the least, I miss him. Two weeks ago I asked him to send me a package of a few things that I'd forgotten or left at home, a pair of flats, a dress and to "trow in some candy for good measure...(please)". He took this as an opportunity to be a complete romantic and oh so
LIFE: next stop 8th and 14th
On my plane ride, looking out of the window I start to think about my summer in New York (completely romanticizing life in the city). I daydream of meeting famous editor, rummaging through sample sales, meeting young people with similar goals as my own, walking to work in unique and glamorous clothes, partying in Brooklyn with friends, exclusive rendezvous with fashion's elite, shopping on fifth

LIFE: the 19th day: violets for furs
I turned 23 yesterday. I'm still very young- I know, but after 21 you really do stop counting and it does seems as if your just getting older; plus, there's no predetermined landmark to look forward to anymore. All in all it was a fun day- I bought a new vintage waist-length fox fur and hung out with Joe and a few friends playing board games until the early morning.
LIFE: a late Valentine
Joe and I was on our way back from NYC on valentines day and didn't have time to celebrate until the following day. I feel so happy and blessed to be with the love of my life all of the time- so for the ones of you who are single, I've decided to share my happiness with all of you today. Have a wonderful weekend. - wearing the deep red 100% silk petal dress from S/S 11 collection.
OPINION: goatfarm on a friday night
Joe and I attended a GloATL artist show tonight, held at the goat farm (the venue of my s/s 10 collection show). We first were introduced to these dancers back in September on fashions night out - two of the dancers were preforming at the Jeffery store for FNO. They the wieredest thing I've seen in a while especially given the fact that we were in Atlanta. Their movements were like gyrations,
OUTFIT: sun kissed in winter
The temperature was a high of 69 today (need I say more). We spent most of the day outside. Plus the comments are back up now...I don't know what I was going through- but it had nothing to do with comments. There is no need for newcomer to not have comments -I think. Anyway, Joe hated the idea from the beginning so I take it he'll be gloating now.
